The original taste of Glen Moray, whisky is loved throughout the world. Dsitilled in copper stills, then aged entirely in American oak casks, for a multitude of citrus and vanilla notes. Approachable and easy drinking, The Classic opens the door to discovering the rest of Glen Moray’s whiskies.<\/p>\n Glen Moray Port Cask Finish<\/strong> (40%) This richer, sweeter Glen Moray. Matured first in American oak casks for classic Speyside notes, it is then carefully finished over several months in port casks from Porto Cruz, renowned as the world’s No. 1 port. Light, fruity and balanced, the Port Cask Finish is enjoyed by single malt lovers and whisky newcomers alike.<\/p>\n Glen Moray Sherry Cask Finish<\/strong> (40%) The deep and complex sherry illustrates the expertise in marrying casks. The spirit is matured in American oak casks, for the traditional Speyside style. Then when the whisky is ready, the single malt is finished for several months in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. The single malt emerges from those sherry casks filled with notes of dried fruity, nuts and spice, to be savoured both by long-time single malt fans and those who are new to whisky.<\/p>\n Glen Moray Peated<\/strong> (40%) Balancing smoky intensity with classic Speyside smoothness, this dram is a fascinating introduction to peated whiskies. It begins with barley which, unusually for Glen Moray, is dried in a peat-fired kiln, for hints of smoke. Uniting this peated barley with the traditional malted barley, creating a lightly peated spirit threaded with distinctive campfire notes.
